Obat’s Daughter, Omobolanle’s failed marriage gets messier

From the cradle, Omobolanle Akinruntan, the beautiful daughter of  Oba Fredrick Obateru Akinruntan, the Olugbo of Ugboland,Ondo, had everything at her feet, courtesy her aristocratic background. However, like the saying,’life is not a bed of roses’. Ironically, matrimony has not been that   blissful for her. Years of marriage to Ayo Fanowopo, which produced two children, Ayodele  Olayinka Fanawopo and Oluwademilade Fanawopo, was like living in hell. UrbanlifeNG.com, was reliably informed that her life, in the UK, where they both lived, with the children, was full of physical abuses and blackmail from the Ayo, who later instituted a divorce proceedings. Unfortunately for him, the custody of the children was given to Mobola, with only visitation rights. Thereafter, he became more frustrated and dangerous, he stopped catering for the welfare of the family, telling the court, he had no job. In order to save herself from hardship, Mobola, had to relocate to Nigeria with the children. Although, divorce they say is  not  honorable to any woman, she could not withstand  living  with the pains of a loveless marriage. So on getting to Nigeria, she also instituted a  proceeding to dissolve the sour marriage  at a Lagos Customary Court in 2010.The crisis however, reached the zenith, on the morning of February 2nd,2012, when the father of the children, reportedly  snatched the children on their way to school. UrbanlifeNG.com, pieced that, with efforts of her family, the distraught, lady was able to secure the release of the children, from the British High Commision, where Ayo, took them for deportation .Subsequently, she has since gone underground in fear of reprisal from bitter former partner. Through her lawyer, she has been able to contact relevant Nigerian and British authorities over the matter. Her statements, we gathered threw a lot of putrid accusations that might nail Ayodeju Fanawopo.

  3. Whatever you sow, you (or your children) will reap. Her father snatched a young lawyer's wife in Lagos and took his three kids. Karma truly is a bitch.

  11. This story isn't complete enough for me to judge. What caused their marital problems in the first instance. Another case of love gone sour.

  12. no wonder the rich and wealthy marry themselves..
one reason i might assume is the cause of the battering is probably failed expectations.when the guy landed the daughter of a billionaire he must have though he ll be living the life not knowing oba akiruntan doesn't spoil his children with money like that in fact they live like normal average middle class.

you have done the right thing take care of your children with this picture its obvious she is a pretty lady that coupled with the daughter of whom she is a line of better men will line up in no time.
whoever said marriage is too honourable to break from tell them to experience the battering you have

She's finer than her Dad. Doesn't the man have small tribal marks or something?

  20. Ladun,it is now obvious that you have sold your heart to the devil. How can you hear one side of the story and then publish?.OMobola was caught shoplifting and found out that she did not even graduate from school. Who gave her the custody of the children because she ran away from the uk during a court proceeding.Infact she can not go back to the uk because she is wanted. So why all these lies on your web page. Please visit www.findayoanddemi.co.uk.

  21. The ex husband of omobolanle happens to be someone i have met through a friend and i must confess he is a very simple and honest person.
This lady happend to live the life of that like her mother. It has been found out that they do not have morals nor do they have good upbringing. It is obviously lies that she was broke in london because i have seen pay slips to show that the ex husband pays child surport wit regards to the children and for sure we all know she ran away from london in 2010.Therefore i am surprise @ some of the comment from those who feed from Omobola's family chatting absolute rubish.
