Hi Ladun, Please I want to be extremely anonymous. I have
been married for about 2 years and I have been TTC (trying to conceive), I have
done all tests which shows that I'm perfectly alright. My doctor keeps saying
something that bothers me though; 'we need to probe your husband, 5 out of 10
men you see nowadays can’t make a woman pregnant'. The issue here is, my
husband has refused to get tested for some reasons, he says we should wait for
God's time and he doesn't trust his semen to the labs e.t.c.
How can I convince him to get his semen tested? I love him
so much and i'd still love and be faithful to him if the problem is from him.
Our families have been concerned but we haven't told them that my husband has
not been tested. WHAT CAN I DO ABOUT MY HUSBAND? I NEED TO GET HIM TESTED.

ReplyDeletemost nigerian men are d same. well, if u have tried and he still refuses to go for any test then u can persuade him to try takin some vitamins like vitamin c, e, and zinc, it will help boost his sperm mortility and count over a oeriod of 2 to 3 months or just google vutamins that boost male fertility. no harm in takin it even though he doesnt want to know what the problem is. and u should look into getting a HSG test done to check for scar tissues or fibroids and ur fallopian tubes. track ur ovulation too. Prayin for u.

(I suggest googling ways 2 preserve sperm so those little fuckers don't die b4 they get to the lab). Hell, he might even know why you can't have kids and is keeping it from you. Figure it out lady, GET HIS SPERM ! And that is all *exits left*

ReplyDeleteMy friend tried for 5 years, she kept worrying and begging her husband to go for test. He blatantly refused due to pride but luckily on their 6th year of marriage she had a baby girl and now have 2 kids. You just have to find a way to get to him and if you cant then go on your Knees.

DeleteMost men don't like hospitals. He won't go until he is ready and you can't force him. Semen for analysis should reach the hospital within 30mins - 1hr of production, so you can't freeze or anything. If he's not willing, he can't also produce. My advise is pray, be patient and cajole. Speak to a young male doctor who is like is age/peer mate who can make the discussion lighter and for him to see reason. Like someone suggested like him take sperm boosting vitamins. He should also lose the weight (if he has has), eat healthy. Blended coconut and wheat works well.

ReplyDeletePut his sperm in a glass, and fill it up with water. If it floats, then his sperm count is good. If it sinks, there's a problem and if it's in the middle, then..-_-
