The Nigeria Basketball Federation posted a statement saying that the 29-year-old athlete played basketball for the team that qualified for the London 2012 Olympics. However, Onyeuku was not on the Olympic roster and did not actually compete.
The statement reads: '[His] passion for playing with D’Tigers was deep-seated and he will be greatly missed. The federation joins his family and team mates to mourn a departed son, father, husband and great patriot.'
What was he thinking trying to break into someone's home. Was he a common thief?

ReplyDeleteI do not know him personally, but I know his family and they are wonderful family. His father is a nice man and so also is his brother - and the little time I spent with them, I know they are amazing. Please do not judge - it is one thing to say he was shot while robbing a home. The whole truth to the story has not been published, we are just judging by what is published for us to read....There is the family to consider before we all jump to conclusion, so until the whole TRUTH is revealed, let us not jump to conclusion..May he rest in peace
