Folorunsho Alakija Replaced By Isabel Dos Santos as the Richest Black Woman in Africa
Nigerian female Billionaire, Folorunsho Alakija has been displaced as the richest black woman in Africa according to Forbes.
She was replaced by Isabel Dos Santos, the oldest daughter of Angolan President Jose Eduardo Dos Santos.
Isabel has been buying more shares of publicly traded companies in Portugal, including shares in a bank and a cable TV company. Those stakes, combined with assets Isabel dos Santos owns in at least one bank in Angola, have pushed her net worth over the $1 billion mark. She is 40.

One oil person using state funds replaces another oil person using connections to the state. What would we do without oil?
ReplyDeleteThe truth is that this women are not amassing the wealth attributed through industry or entrepreneurship but from patronage. Getting awarded oil blocks etc. How many folks can get lucky enough to get such breaks. Nothing there for folks to celebrate about.

DeleteDaughter of the Angolan President. We should realise Oprah earned her every dime. She is no theif. It wouldn't be news if she is replaced in another month. Well, they are damn.......maybe when im 40.
ReplyDeletePlease madam Ladun. Please quote your Source (www.gboyetade.blogspot.com)
ReplyDeleteHahahahahahahahaahahaha this report that is all over the internet. You too lifted from somewhere else. I am not LL by the way but check out the website Ghana posts.
DeleteLol Mr Gboye .. are you the original person that did the desk research? Are you the original person that published it?
Deletehmmmn i hope she has been able to choose a husband amongst all the gigolos she keeps sleeping with and buying luxury cars for, dysfunctional family brother is gay this one is a nymphomaniac all the family robbing angola blind i hail. but most of her own money is being held in trust for her father everyone knows that ..both the isabel woman and alakija are almost the same thing..angola is as corrupt as Nigeria and you need to see this woman when she is on shopping sprees even abacha ,babangida children will bow
ReplyDeleteYour telescope goes as far as Angola? Lucabracee, I'm afraid of you now! Where did you see her shopping? In Monaco? He!! He!!!
DeleteHow can you compare the Isabel woman to Alakija....... Alakija made her money honestly with hard sweat . Thats the difference. Alakija is legal money from hard sweat . the other is angola natural money
DeleteNa oversabi go kill Luca! Be there forming that you know it all! Jobless goat!
Deletelool, the son of their junior minister for petroleum and a junior bro to what would be called an equivalent to a state governor in naija were my close friend i met in university so through them i got to hang out as attachee few times lol one time when this woman came to uk and i was with my friends and other angolans who were close friends in a brazillian steak restaurant na so this woman asked them to call more people to come and eat o..right in front of my eyes in selfridges she spent more than 70,000 pounds in one day of shopping that i was present not counting other days telling all of us to pick anything..they know her and her gay brother personally in any selfridges in the uk and harrods as in their own personal shopper is immediately assigned once they enter
DeleteI read she's married to the son of some wealthy congolese person, he's into arts and all that. Lucabracee, are you an investigator ni? You know everything!lol
Delete@happyhausabunny
Deleteno o lol,i just happen to have friends at uni who know them o,angolans are a tight community and have very similar behaviours and personalities to nigerians..thank GOD she is now married, last i heard her bro wasn't married they are much more active and known in portugal and congo their neighbour
Honesty and Mrs Alakija in the same place? She's as crooked as the Babangida's who made her & used her for deals.
Deletedid someone just said Alakija made her money thru hard work and sweat?
DeleteOMGush!!!
oh hardwork and sweat robbing u blind of what belongs to u and her?
oh poor Nigeria and Nigerians
oil bloc that belongs to u all, that shd give u free education, free health, good roads, social security, that u shd be referred to as Prince of Nigeria or Princess of Nigeria like they do in Dubai, given to her on a platter of gold, just like that and u sit here to celebrate this woman? oh what a nation!
@happy yoruba bunny
Deletepeople will give you the label "hater" in subsequent comments lol…you ll read comments like its her money or she worked for it thats the level nigerians have degenerated to
thank you jare happy yoruba bunny. oil bloc that belongs to you and i ..... one person is sitting on it and because she is doing saara & some charity work with MY resources, I should allow her be?
DeleteDisplaced you say? Nah, that's not what happened. I suspect Forbes did an inquest into Folorunsho's wealth and discovered the truth behind it. Forbes have a lot of 'spies' (information gatherers).
ReplyDeleteYou think they don't read Nigerian blogs and online publications? They have 'third ears' designated in every part of the world. And if they smell something fishy about your monies; you're off the list. Pronto! She wasn't displaced, she was quietly REPLACED
**my take**
hmmmmm plenty sense
Deletethen why would they replace her with the angolan woman whose source of wealth is also quite questionable.
DeleteNice question there... Maximus, oya, over to you...
DeleteYou Nigerian bloggers are smoking something. No research; just paste rubbish. How can Isabel overthrow Mrs. Alakija with just $1 billion? Y'all don't even care to be credible sources of information. Mrs. Alakija is worth $3.3 billion, Oprah's net worth is $2.7 billion... Google is your friend.
ReplyDeleteLadun walahi I don't get u...y dyu always post one comment twice or more than once??? Linda reads thru her commentz...if sombody posts somtin more than once she approvez of one nd deletez d oda. ur style of bloggin iz iritatin...laziness...mscheeeeew
ReplyDeleteAll na blood money
ReplyDeleteHaba! Isabel has been married for over 10 years now to Sindy Dakolo...no problems with the marriage either
ReplyDeleteyou have a right to your own sources i have a right to mine the last name of the son of the junior minister who is just one of my sources and is presently working in angola as the nigerian equivalent of a police superintendent is INNOCENCIO name yours??
DeleteLuca make wikipedia your BEST friend before u go spreading wrong information. She married in 2003 , having the most lavish wedding costing 4million usd . It was said back then of complains how guest were flown in with private jets and no visa. By passing the local immigration procedure . My cousin is married to Angola and that is my source even before wikipedia confirmation .
DeleteDude shut the fuck up. The answer is in the article. She has been married to SIndy Dakolo since 2003.
Deletedemented twat google is not my own source but real people,if you dont have a sensible and credible retort other than crude barbs then be forever silent and i am not responding to an irritant like you again
Delete@duppsssyyy
ReplyDeletei dont care if google is your next door neighbour i will only say what i have witnessed and what i have witnessed is that not just her but her siblings indulge in all that i have written here and more.. let your "angola" you are married to state his name and position in the present angolan govt under dos santos and tell me what i have written are lies..i am so current i even have more gist on the younger daughter with proof of venue with gigolo that is how current i am i repeat loud and clear she and her younger ones pay for sex with young fit men married or not,she is her dad's conduit for money laundering and one of her brothers is gay#fact
