Well said! Almost all our cultural dances have one form of butt shaking or bust shaking or the other. Dress style is as skimpy as possible. the Igbo dancers have just one small cloth tied across the chest and a very short wrapper tied across the waist. So I am truly amazed when there is criticism about Western music. Ours is even more vulgar - have you seen Benue dancers before??
Please ehn also ask why are peadophiles blacklisted since some of our cultures encourage marriage of underage children....stop justifying bullshit....when you watch traditional dancers and what this video vixens do is the same shey?....

whichever view one subscribes to she has raised a very pertinent question and a contentious issue personally i agree with her and i reckon its just the usual hypocritical attitude we NIGerians have.. the only disagreement i have with her comment is that there are no sexually suggestive,titilating acts in african dances unlike the video vixens who will oil themselves or throw water on themselves and dress scantily all these are not present in real african dances our law makers who indulge in all sorts including gay/lesbian and incestous vices will come outside to ban gay/lesbian marriages and condemn some moral vices..
