Vanguard Editor Speaks On Iyabo Obasanjo’s Letter! Says We Spoke To Her Severally Today And There Will be An Update Tomorrow

Vanguard Newspaper Editor, Mideno Bayagbon has spoken about the widely circulated Iyabo Obasanjo’s letter to her father, which they exclusively broke this morning. He says, they have spoken to Iyabo Obasanjo severally today and they also have her on record. Here is what he told News Express when he was called on the phone few minutes ago to react to her denial;

“We have contrary information. We have spoken with her several times today and she’s standing by her letter. We have her on record, so it’s not a problem.”

About Iyabo Obasanjo’s denial on a radio programme earlier today, he said;

 “I did not watch or listen to it, so I do not know who appeared on the programme.” He also disclosed that Vanguard has more on the issue, saying: “We are doing an update tomorrow.”

  4. I still dont see why Iyabo would have written such a letter. We all kno OBJ can be eccentric at times by not recognizing family or close friends if you fok up. Once you mess up whatever job he hands you, he fires you.... could Iyabo be a "disgruntled employee"? Anyways until she comes on NTA to say yes or no, I believe NO ONE

  6. My conclusion is it is only Iyabo that can write such a letter. That letter was too personal and it contains a lot of her life experiences. No one except her mom can know so much abt her that way.

  10. I've read the full letter and I don't believe she actually did write it. The content was more personal, like revealing an abusive upbringing and a tale of a broken home amidst unappreciation. Mrs Iyabo's way too grown for such cheap talk. Well it's just my hypothesis, I hope she confirms it soon.

  15. DENIAL OR NO DENIAL. She shouldn't have sent the letter out in the first place. She got to the senatorial post through her father's influence. Does she think she won the vote on a platter of gold. To me she is just a stupid and ungrateful daughter. Does he wants to adopt Osoba has her father or who? If her father name isn't opening door for her she should have dropped it instead of using Obansanjo-Bello. Omo Ale jatijati. Ladun if you like post my comment na you know.

    2. Why call Jonathan into this? This is d reason politicians will continue to use u all like footballs;Iyabo is right on point. Nigerians are very corrupt & bad,thats why we all turn our face the other way,calling black,white & to continue to worship all this past leaders that have being stealing from our National purse.. Is Obasanjo a perfect man? I pity our youths,they all believed Obasanjo,Tinubu,Atiku ,Fani kayode,El Rufai & Co. We all should wake up ,they dont love us at all. They are all fighting for their Pockets. If they love us ,they should return all they've stolen from us. & we all should stop being praise singers to them. Its not government as usual to all this robbers of our destiny. God will reward you all.

  21. Going by recent events i have to admit i think she did write the letter..for a father who slept with his own son's wife,some are even whispering that he might have slept with Iyabo due to their unnatural closeness at a time what Iyabo has written is no news
